Why
Pine-Sol is intended for washable hard surfaces and the manufacturer provides hardwood-cleaning guidance, but explicitly excludes several wood finishes. Ordinary sealed, intact hardwood is reasonably compatible when used as directed.
What to do
Use only on sealed, intact hardwood; dilute as directed, apply sparingly, avoid soaking, and wipe/rinse residue promptly. Do not use on unfinished, unsealed, unpainted, waxed, oiled, or worn wood.
